【1John4:4】You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

John constantly encourages believers that in the war between the two kingdoms, they will experience trials like fire, h...

【Psa 66:11–12】You brought us into the net; You laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, yet You brought us into a place of abundance.

Psalm 66 once again reveals a precious spiritual principle from God: behind the...

【Rom 10:17】Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Faith comes from the words of Christ, and every word of His is powerful. If we only pray and don't read the Bible, we will not underst...

【2Cor8:9】For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

When it comes to poverty, Jesus walked this earth with no beauty or outward glory, no formal learning, no entourage, no possessions, not even a home of His own.

【1Jo 3:2】Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

John once again passionately exhorts God’s children not to deceive themselves but to refl...

【Psalm 127:1】A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain; unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

Psalm 127 brings us into a deep spiritual lesson...

【‪Jam1:14-15】but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.‬

Consider it pure joy whenever we face trials of many kinds, because the testing of our faith produces perseverance.

【Psa 94:11】The Lord knows all human plans;he knows that they are futile.

Futility means falsehood, emptiness, and something that is not real. Think about it: every day, how many...

【Col1:13-14】For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

“The power of darkness” refers to the forces of the devil and of sin; the whole world lies under the evil one&...

【Psa45:7】You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.

Psalm 45 is a song of love, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The psalmist, enlightened by the Spirit, was lifted beyond ...
